Italian striker Marco Di Vaio is determined to get his career back on track at Monaco after struggling to secure a regular place at Valencia.
The 29-year-old was unveiled at the principality club on Wednesday, having finalised his six-month loan deal from Spain.
“I am very happy to have signed,” said the former Parma and Juventus ace. “I hope to adapt to the club, to help my new teammates and to be ready to play my first match.
“I hope to get back to playing well with Monaco and pay back some of the faith that the club have shown in me.
“It’s true that I didn’t play a lot at Valencia but I have been training regularly and, though I may lack a bit of rhythm, it shouldn’t be a problem.”
Di Vaio should be in Monaco’s starting lineup for the trip to Auxerre on January 5.
