Senegal have named no fewer than 15 French-based players in their 23-man squad for the African Cup of Nations.
Joint Coaches Abdoulaye Sarr and Amara Traoré unveiled the list in Dakar on Tuesday, and several Ligue 1 clubs are affected by the announcement.
With the three-week tournament set to commence in Egypt on January 20, Sochaux will be the French club most concerned. They are set to be without three of their regular defenders: Omar Daf, Souleymane Diawara and Nguirane Ndaw.
On top of the 15 French-based stars, there are six Premiership players included.
Bolton are the English most affected, as they will lose influential duo Abdoulaye Diagne Faye and El Hadji Diouf.
