Ajaccio boss Rolland Courbis has set his sights on luring Bordeaux striker Lilian Laslandes to the Stade François-Coty.
The Corsican side have scored just 10 goals in 19 games this season, and after failing to get a win in their last 12 outings, dropped to 19th in the standings.
Courbis is desperate to bring in new firepower during the January transfer window, and sees the prolific veteran Laslandes as the perfect man to save Ajaccio’s season.
However, Ajaccio’s finances are in such a bad state they would need to sell before bringing in fresh blood. Waldir Lucas Pereira top scorer last term with 11 goals is the player most likely to be sacrificed.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has scored just two goals in 13 matches this season, and is attracting the interest of Spanish side Espanyol.
Laslandes, 34, fired Bordeaux into the semi-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue last week, but has scored just once in 17 League appearances for Les Girondins this season.
