Lyon ace joins Istres

Lyon forward Julien Viale has been loaned to Ligue 2 side Istres until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old was loaned to Reims last season, scoring just one goal in 17 second-flight appearances.

But Viale could have an important role to play with Istres, who have lost their main striker Nicolas Goussé to a groin injury for several months.
