Nouzaret sacked by USMA

USM Alger have sacked Robert Nouzaret after the club's relationship with the French Coach became untenable.

The former Montpellier and Saint-Etienne boss only arrived at the Algerian side in July, replacing another Frenchman Jean-Paul Rabier, but has struggled to see eye to eye with the USMA bosses.

USMA are currently 11 points behind the leaders JS Kabylie in fifth spot, with internal wrangling making it difficult for Nouzaret to carry out his work.

The 61-year-old has vast experience coaching in Africa is could well find himself working in some capacity at next month’s Nations Cup.
