Bordeaux boss Ricardo believes that Jean-Claude Darcheville will stay at the club despite attracting interest from Rangers.
The Scottish champions are keen to bolster their strike force ahead of their Champions’ League showdown with Villarreal, and Darcheville has emerged as a top target.
But the former Lorient and Nottingham Forest ace, who has scored three goals in 18 matches for Les Girondins this season, is seemingly settled at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
“There won’t be any changes to the squad, unless there is an unplanned departure,” Ricardo said after Tuesday’s Coupe de la Ligue win over Nantes.
“I had a conversation with Darcheville before the match. He thinks he will stay until the end.
“I’m going on holiday now to see my family in Brazil,” added the former Paris Saint-Germain boss.
