Permanent deal for Diagne-Faye

Bolton have completed the permanent transfer of Senegal international Abdoulaye Diagne-Faye from Ligue 1 side Lens.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Istres, before joining the Reebok Stadium on loan for the current campaign.

Bolton opted to invoke the buy-out clause for the midfielder who has impressed in his ten League appearances so far this season.

“Abdoulaye Faye has been one of the revelations of the Premiership this season,” said Bolton boss Sam Allardyce.

“He has been without doubt our most consistent player throughout this campaign and he loves the physical side of the Premiership.”
