Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has pleaded with Coach Arsène Wenger not to join Real Madrid.
The former Monaco tactician has been linked with a switch to the La Liga giants, although he has said that he will not be leaving the Gunners before 2008.
“Here in England, if you lose a game then people show faith and patience,” said the young Spaniard. “That is priceless in your professional life as a footballer or a Coach.
“In Spain, if you lose two or three games then the first thing everybody looks for is to sack the Coach. The difference between Arsenal and Real Madrid is that at Highbury Arséne is the total boss.
“Even though he's at the start of a very young and very ambitious project, he can see the team is starting to play great football again, and that's exciting.
"He believes in this project he has started at Arsenal, and knows that everyone, the board, the fans and the players have total confidence in him.
"This team is his life's work. It would not just surprise me if he left now - it would seem like something out of another world if he left us for Real."
