Marseille boss Jean Fernandez believes his team will be in for a challenge when they face Bolton in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup.
Sam Allardyce's Premiership side hardly have the same European pedigree as the 2004 finalists, yet Fernandez says he was hoping for weaker opponents in next February's two-legged tie.
"It's a difficult draw for us against a team who are fifth in their championship," he declared. "They're very well organised and have quality players.
"With all their foreigners, they look like a European team. We definitely could have done better."
OM President Pape Diouf was more optimistic, on the other hand, citing the team's record this season as reason to believe they will come through.
"We could have come across an easier side but nothing's impossible," he said. "When you beat teams like Lazio and Deportivo la Coruna in the Intertoto Cup, and PSG and Auxerre in the League, that means you have a certain quality.
"Afterwards, it's not going to easy in the last 16 (Rosenborg or Zenith Saint-Petersburg), but we're not complaining. We'll just have to roll our sleeves up."
