Nancy count cost of Strasbourg loss

Last weekend’s 2-1 home defeat by Strasbourg is becoming more and more costly for Nancy after it emerged that striker Kim has been sidelined.

The Brazilian forward was replaced at the interval after sustaining an ankle injury, and tests have confirmed that the 25-year-old will be out of action until after Christmas.

Kim has scored just one goal in 12 games for the Lorraine club, but has won many plaudits for his wholehearted displays.

During the same game, Nancy defender Adailton suffered a broken shinbone and is unlikely to play again this season, while another defender Pape Malicki Diakhaté picked up a minor knee injury.
