Coach: Dominique Bijotat
Dominique Bijotat became the first of ten Coaches to be fired from Ligue 1 clubs in the 2004/05 season when last-placed Ajaccio sacked him after a handful of matches. Bijotat had joined the Corsican side as Rolland Courbis’ assistant in 2002 before inheriting the top job 12 months later. In June 2005 he replaced Guy Lacombe at Sochaux, just a month after accepting a post with third division Clermont Foot. As a player Bijotat won a gold medal with the French Olympic side at the Los Angeles Games in 1984 and waas crowned French champion in 1982 with Monaco.
