Coach: Pablo Correa
Pablo Correa was signed to Nancy in 1995 by current Rennes Coach Laszlo Bölöni and scored 28 goals in 119 League appearances for the Lorraine club. At the end of the 2001 season he decided to hang up his boots but stayed with the club in an advisory capacity. He spent the next 12 months passing his mandatory French coaching diplomas and in the summer of 2002 he was integrated into the senior side coaching staff. After a disastrous start to the 2002/03 season Moussa Bezaz was sacked and Correa saved the side’s Ligue 2 status. Correa has steadily improved the clubs results over the past three seasons, culminating by winning the second division title and earning promotion to Ligue 1 for the 2005/06 season.
