Coach: Frédéric Hantz
Appointed in January 2005 as Daniel Jeandupeux's replacement, Frédéric Hantz took Le Mans from eighth place in Ligue 2 up to second by the end of the season, thus returning the club to the top-flight. A former player with Metz and Nice, Hantz came to prominence as a Coach by leading amateur side Brive to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France in the 2003-04 season, eliminating Auxerre along the way. He is shouldered by assistant Coach Arnaud Cormier, who led Le Mans's Under-18 side to triumph in the 2004 Gambardella Cup. |
