2006 World Cup Qualifier - 4/9/04
France 0-0 Israel
Paris

A resilient defensive performance by Israel ensured that Raymond Domenech would have to wait a little while longer for his first win as France Coach.

With the retirement of many key players following Euro 2004, Domenech switched to a 3-5-2 formation, with Patrick Vieira becoming the new captain. But it was to be a night of frustration for the French, as they failed to breakdown Israel in front of their home fans.
