| Francesco Guidolin is the new Coach of Parma, while axed tactician Gigi Cagni admits his disappointment.
The Ducali have failed to impose themselves in the Second Division since their relegation last term and Cagni was fired with the side in mid-table.
“I'm very disappointed at the decision the club has made,” Cagni lamented on Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I don't want to discuss this at the moment but it is a really bad time. I didn't expect the axe and I just need some time to reflect.”
Ex-Palermo boss Guidolin will be unveiled in Collecchio tomorrow afternoon.
The respected Coach has also sat on the bench at Empoli, Atalanta, Vicenza, Udinese, Bologna and Monaco amongst other clubs.
