| Zanetti set for sweet 600 |

Inter captain Javier Zanetti is eagerly awaiting his 600th appearance for the club this evening as Lecce visit San Siro.
Zanetti signed for Inter from Argentine club Banfield in 1995 and made his 599th outing in the Nerazzurri shirt against Torino last weekend.
He may be a long way behind Paolo Maldini, who has 873 Milan appearances, in the all-time list, but Zanetti is close to an impressive milestone.
I'm really proud, the 35-year-old beamed. It's unusual to see a player stay at the same club for so many years these days and it's tough to keep your place in such a prestigious team.
I have the same hunger for victory as I had when I first joined the Beneamata and I have a great desire to keep helping the club I love so deeply.
Hopefully I'll reach the 600 mark against Lecce and celebrate four days later by shaking the hand of Maldini, a man I respect greatly, before the Milan derby.
Inter are currently level with Juventus at the top of the Serie A table with two wins and a draw from their opening three games of the 2008-09 campaign.
