Portuguese star Ricardo Quaresma found the net for Inter on his debut against Catania on Saturday and revelled in his successful start.
Quaresma joined the Italian champions from Porto on transfer deadline day and has already won over the fans at San Siro.
The 24-year-old played a crucial role in guiding Inter to a hard-fought 2-1 win over Catania when he immediately cancelled out Gianvito Plasmati's opening goal.
It was a beautiful moment, Quaresma told Inter's official website.
First of all I would like to thank my teammates and the fans, who have been exceptional towards me.
I feel like I have been with Inter for years, not for two weeks. I felt the affection of the people and that gives me a push to work harder and do better.
It was an important and deserved win over Catania and I feel that I had a good debut.
And in the second half I felt I managed to adapt tactically to the fact that we had a numerical disadvantage, he concluded.
