Influential Catania midfielder Pablo Ledesma will be out of action for a while after he broke his right hand.
The Argentine international signed for the Sicilians this summer and has made an important contribution to the Etnei's superb start to the season.
But Walter Zenga will have to do without Ledesma for a few weeks after he fractured two bones in his hand in the game against Reggina last weekend.
The recovery period for such an injury varies but the ex-Boca Juniors man may be able to play with a protective cast.
Meanwhile, Zenga has given his men an extra day of rest but will lead double training sessions on Thursday and Friday.
