Antonio Langella starred in Chievo's friendly against their youth side this afternoon and midfielder Emanuele D'Anna predicts a resurgence.
After winning the Serie B title last term, the Flying Donkeys have struggled on their return to the top flight.
Chievo have picked up just five points from six games, but they looked confident as they strolled past their Primavera side 4-0 with two goals from Langella.
Mauro Esposito and Maurizio Anastasi scored the other goals, while Brazilian Luciano missed a penalty.
Our objective for the season is just to survive in Serie A, midfielder D'Anna stated after the final whistle.
The start of the campaign wasn't very easy but we knew that the top League would bring difficulties for a newly promoted side like us.
We are ready to work hard and to fight to win these important points.
Chievo welcome high-flying Atalanta to the Stadio Bentegodi this weekend.
