Friday 7 November, 2008 | | There are rumours that Inter marksman Julio Cruz has asked to be allowed to rejoin former side Bologna in January.
Cruz was a crucial figure in last season's Scudetto triumph under Roberto Mancini, but his relationship with Jose Mourinho is far from ideal.
The two men had a public spat after Inter's stalemate with Genoa and the Special One seems to have closed the first-team door on Cruz after he was dropped from the last two Serie A squads.
Despite starring in the Beneamata's 3-3 Champions League draw with Anorthosis Famagusta, Cruz is said to be unhappy with the Italian champions.
According to Sportmediaset, the Argentine ace has asked President Massimo Moratti to let him join struggling Bologna on loan in January.
The 34-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season and he is said to be keen to work with former Inter assistant Sinisa Mihajlovic, who has just taken the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara hot seat.
