Italian Prime Minister and Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi is gaining in confidence that the Rossoneri can win their first Italian Championship for four years.
Milan are currently leading Serie A, a point ahead of Udinese and Inter after the opening 10 games of the season.
We hope to continue like this, said Berlusconi at the opening of the 66th Rho Cycle and Motorcycle Fair. I believe in the Scudetto.
But beware because there are two very strong teams that are our direct rivals for the title. Inter and Juventus.
To anyone wondering why Milan have not won Serie A for so long, Berlusconi replied: We have used these four years to become European and world champions.
Finally, we are at the top and we deserve to be there because Milan is a team that allows those who pay the price of a ticket to enjoy moments of real football.
Berlusconi became President of Milan in 1986 and changed Italian football forever. During his time with the Rossoneri the club have won 26 major titles.
