Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko will do his best for the Rossoneri even if he is not guaranteed a place in the starting line up.
The 32-year-old Ukrainian returned to Milan this summer after a disappointing two years at Chelsea, but has only started one game for the club.
This is something we all have to accept, admitted Shevchenko after watching Milan beat Napoli from the stands yesterday evening.
For me, what counts is that Milan win. I have to give my contribution to the team in every way possible, even on the bench or in the stands.
The former Ballon d'Or winner has yet to score in Serie A this season and is now considered Milan's fifth choice striker.
Shevchenko is the second highest scorer in Milan's history following seven seasons with the club between 1999 and 2006 in which he hit 173 goals in 296 appearances.
