Edy Reja was disappointed to see Napoli leave San Siro empty-handed, but maintains they are not suffering from travel sickness.
“That seems like an excessive approach to take,” he said after questions surrounding their third consecutive away defeat.
“It is entirely plausible for any side to lose against Inter. If anything we should be complaining about the 2-2 draw at home with Cagliari, as that was where we really dropped points.”
Ivan Cordoba and Sulley Muntari snatched victory despite Ezequiel Lavezzi’s fine goal and a valiant fightback.
“At the moment things aren’t going our way, such as the own goal that saw us lose here with Milan a few weeks ago and Cagliari’s last-gasp equaliser.”
The Coach was irritated with referee Roberto Rosetti for the limited amount of stoppages awarded as Napoli chased the game.
“I cannot understand why, when the same number of substitutions were made, a week ago in Naples we were given five minutes of stoppages and here just three minutes. There needs to be some consistency.”
