Hernan Crespos rumoured January move from Inter to Real Madrid is unlikely to go through, says Spanish chief Ramon Calderon.
I dont know about Crespo, but I dont think he will arrive, said Calderon when quizzed by Radio Marca on the Argentine striker.
Were concentrating more on our summer transfer campaign where we will buy two or three great players whom Im sure will delight everyone the fans and the shareholders.
Crespo had been widely tipped to join the Liga giants as a replacement for the injured Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
Given that he was left out of Inters Champions League roster, the experienced striker is an attractive option as he wouldnt be Cup-tied in Europe.
Primary talks were understood to have taken place between the club and Crespos agent Fernando Hidalgo.
But reports claim that Crespo was left cold by a contract offer until June 2010 which sources allege wasnt as lucrative as he would have hoped.
Crespo, now 33, is only a fringe player at Inter given the clubs abundance of talent in attack with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Julio Cruz, Adriano and Mario Balotelli all fighting for one shirt.
Roma have also been linked with the South American attacker who once wore the colours of city rivals Lazio.
