| | Parma deny Lucarelli exit |

| Parma sporting director Andrea Berta maintains that Azzurri striker Cristiano Lucarelli will be staying with the Serie B side.
Lucarelli, who made his name at Livorno, pledged to stay with Parma in spite of their relegation to the Second Division last season.
But there have been reports that Fiorentina are ready to tempt the international hitman to swell the Gigliati ranks, as Giampaolo Pazzini is failing to play his part at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
“Over the last 10 days there have been voices saying that Cristiano will leave Parma, but they are absolutely untrue,” Berta told Tuttomercatoweb.
“He is one of the best in his role. Pazzini will also become one of the best, but we can't be looking at players who are playing in the Champions League.”
