| Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini is yet to settle in Serie A and stresses things are totally different to England.
The Frenchman joined the Rossoneri from Arsenal on a free transfer during the summer, but he hasn't been at his best in the peninsula.
It is hard to make a good impact as soon as you arrive at a new club in a new country, Flamini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
I'm in good shape, but I still need to get more confidence and become more consistent if I am to be at 100 per cent.
My objective is to hold a first-team place, but first I have to get to know my teammates better and the way Milan play, which is completely different to Arsenal.
Flamini is looking forward to tonight's return to England to face Portsmouth in the UEFA Cup.
I know them very well, he enthused. They are strong in defence and they mostly use long balls.
We need to be completely alert, but we certainly have what it takes to get the win.
Do I like Serie A or the Premier League better? They are both great Leagues but Italian football is more about tactics, whereas English teams attack from start to finish and there is more space.
