Wednesday 26 November, 2008 |
| CFR Cluj's Italian boss Maurizio Trombetta hopes to complete an unlikely double over Roma, but knows his men face a stern test.
The Romanian outfit pulled off one of the shocks of the season when they stunned the Giallorossi 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in September.
In their next European outing, Cluj drew with Chelsea, but they were beaten twice by Bordeaux and must win against a resurgent Roma to keep their Champions League dream alive.
We will be facing a different Roma side compared to the first match, Trombetta admitted.
The Giallorossi have rediscovered their true selves after a difficult start to the campaign.
Nonetheless, we will look to spring another surprise and we are still aiming to qualify, even if it is a tough challenge.
We have some injury problems and Emmanuel Culio and Gabriel Muresan are doubts - we just need a bit of luck.
