Kaladze in line for Farina fine
Tuesday 25 November, 2008

Milan defender Kakha Kaladze faces disciplinary action for his criticism of referee Stefano Farina.

Farina angered the Rossoneri by awarding a controversial penalty for handball against Kaladze in last Sunday's 2-2 draw with Torino.

The respected official also waved away appeals for a Diavolo spot-kick for a foul on Ronaldinho.

Immediately after the game, Kaladze joined boss Carlo Ancelotti in raging at Farina and insisted that, “he doesn't know the rules.”

Although the Georgian international backed down following Vice-President Adriano Galliani's condemnation of his comments, he still faces punishment.

Kaladze and Milan are set for a hefty fine, but any further implications are unlikely and the defender isn't facing a suspension.
