Monday 24 November, 2008 |
| Torino forward Roberto Stellone believes the Granata can build on yesterday evening's draw with Milan.
Things had been looking bleak for Gianni De Biasi's men ahead of kick-off, but they fought hard to claim a point from the high-flying Rossoneri.
Stellone scored the first goal of the game with a glancing header from an Alessandro Rosina cross.
We had to work very hard to take a point after Milan went 2-1 up and we did so successfully - it's a credit to our persistence, Stellone declared.
At last we are doing well at home. Now we just need to focus on our away performances and I'm sure that we can continue to improve as a team.
De Biasi has changed our formation and style of play and it seems to have worked.
We are a little more creative now and we are making more scoring opportunities.
Torino will be looking for maximum points when they travel to Siena next weekend.
