| Luciano Spalletti believes the worst has passed as Roma hope to continue their derby momentum against Lecce.
They were at crisis point before defeating their local rivals Lazio 1-0 last week and can now look to the future with renewed confidence.
The worst has passed, now we must continue winning, smiled the Giallorossi tactician.
Every match is very important for us and we need to carry on trying to get points every week to improve our position in the table, which at the moment does not reflect our real potential.
I must compliment my players, as they remained united even in moments of real difficulty. I thank them, because with many of them I won 100 games on the Roma bench.
If Roma were above all suffering from a lack of confidence and mental strength, then winning the Stracittadina can be the cure to their ills.
Winning the derby can completely change the psychological situation of the players, especially as the victory was fully deserved, added Spalletti.
Christian Panucci and Simone Perrotta are out of the match with Lecce, but Alberto Aquilani returns after a long injury lay-off.
This week the midfielder was linked with a move to Juventus, but the Coach was reassuring.
Roma want to keep Aquilani and he wants to stay here. Both sides are intent on working this out and I don't see any major problems.
Roma squad: Aquilani, Artur, Baptista, Bertagnoli, Brighi, Cassetti, Cicinho, De Rossi, Doni, Juan, Loria, Menez, Mexes, Montella, Okaka, Pizarro, Riise, Taddei, Tonetto, Totti, Vucinic.
