Christian Poulsen is out of Juventus’ trip to Inter, but Jose Mourinho has called in every available player including Adriano.
Mou always said he was no fan of Italian football’s tendency to disguise its plans before a big game, often shocking journalists by announcing his starting XI the day before.
However, he is playing his cards close to his chest for Saturday night’s Derby d’Italia, not releasing the usual squad list.
Instead he and the Inter website merely noted he had “decided to call every available player” for the game against the Bianconeri.
This means he can choose from his entire squad with the exception of the suspended Ivan Cordoba and injured Cristian Chivu, Nelson Rivas and possibly Victor Obinna, who is still travelling home from Nigeria’s midweek international friendly in Colombia.
Adriano is also in the list, making his first appearance since Mourinho froze out the Brazilian for turning up late to training.
Luis Figo and Luis Jimenez have now recovered from long-term problems and were in full training with the Inter squad today.
On the other side of the fence, Juventus are still beset by injuries that have ruled out Gigi Buffon, David Trezeguet, Cristiano Zanetti, Jonathan Zebina, Hasan Salihamidzic, Dario Knezevic and Poulsen.
The Dane was a major doubt after suffering a recurrence of the muscular injury he picked up on October 18, so Claudio Ranieri has called only 20 players.
Juventus squad: Chiellini, Mellberg, Amauri, Iaquinta, Del Piero, Nedved, Chimenti, Manninger, Camoranesi, Marchisio, Giovinco, Grygera, Sissoko, Ekdal, Molinaro, De Ceglie, Tiago, Nocchi, Marchionni, Legrottaglie.
