| Palermo midfielder Antonio Nocerino has seen his suspension reduced and will be able to face Bologna, but the Rosanero still have a depleted squad.
Nocerino was harshly dismissed while playing against Torino a fortnight ago and was given a two-match ban, much to President Maurizio Zamparini's chagrin.
However, a review by the Federal Court of Justice has led to the suspension being reduced to just one game.
The ex-Juventus man has already served that time by missing last weekend's game against Inter, and so he will be free to take on Bologna.
However, it isn't all smiles for Coach Davide Ballardini, who is without suspended defensive duo Federico Balzaretti and Cesare Bovo and is waiting for news on injured goalkeeper Marco Amelia.
Midfielders Roberto Guana and Fabio Liverani may also miss out after training separately on Thursday due to fitness problems.
