| Roma defender Marco Cassetti hopes the Giallorossi can build on their derby triumph and has turned his attention to Champions League glory.
The Lupi ended a miserable run in Serie A with a 1-0 win over Lazio in the Derby della Capitale last Sunday.
However, Roma have a lot of work to do if they are to claw their way back into the top four, as fourth-placed Napoli are 12 points ahead of them.
The group is close-knit and we are working well, Cassetti enthused on Sky Sport Italia.
Now we must keep taking each game as it comes and not to look to the future too much.
We will see what we can achieve if we can put together a run of wins, but we will only take stock at the end of the season.
When the results aren't coming, the players inevitably get affected by a little bit of underlying tension and it becomes a vicious cycle.
A shock 3-1 win over Chelsea in their last Champions League outing has left Roma just one point behind the Blues and level with Bordeaux in Group A.
After the win against Chelsea the road to qualification isn't as uphill as it was, Cassetti asserted.
I think we are one of two candidates to get through but there are two tough games left. Obviously we are hoping for first place, but second would be fine.
Roma's next European date is a trip to CFR Cluj on November 26 where they will look to avenge their 2-1 humbling at the Stadio Olimpico.
