Tuesday 18 November, 2008 |
| Carlos Dunga has chosen Inter hitman Adriano in his squad to face Portugal despite his recent troubles, but Ronaldinho has been rested once more.
Brazil have been struggling to find the net and had to settle for stalemates in home games against Argentina, Bolivia and Colombia.
And Dunga seems to believe that Adriano is the answer to the Selecao's striking woes.
Although L'Imperatore is in the doghouse at Inter after missing training and phoning in sick, it seems his relationship with the national side is unchanged and he has been selected to face Portugal in Brasilia.
Milan ace Ronaldinho won't be making the trip, but Dunga was keen to stress that it was merely a precaution.
I know that Dinho works hard and well at Milan, he stressed. I don't need to test him in this friendly.
I just want him to get back to perfect condition as soon as possible because he is an irreplaceable player for us. | |
