Ancelotti seeks clinical side
Sunday 16 November, 2008

Carlo Ancelotti is not entirely happy with Milan's performance, as they need to be “more clinical” against sides like Chievo.

“We played good football, but did not finish off the game,” he said of their 1-0 victory at San Siro.

It was decided by Kaka's 15th-minute penalty, but the Flying Donkeys had chances to get back into it. A week after the stoppage-time draw with Lecce, the Rossoneri again risked dropping valuable points.

“We could have scored a few more goals and were lacking precision upfront. Considering our experience at Lecce seven days ago, we got a little scared at the end.

“Having said that, I don't think Chievo created any real danger for us.”

The result puts Milan in second place, just one point adrift of Inter, but replays show that the trip on Kaka was outside the box.

“You can see it from the camera at that specific angle, but on the field it was impossible to tell,” assured Ancelotti.
