Zampa: I have Adriano cure
Friday 14 November, 2008

Palermo chief Maurizio Zamparini believes he would be able to put Inter loose cannon Adriano back on track if he came to Sicily on loan.

The enigmatic Emperor has fallen out with Coach Jose Mourinho after turning up late for training and calling in sick this week.

There have been reports in the media that Adri could be sold to a foreign side, but Inter President Massimo Moratti insists he is sticking with Adriano.

“Moratti, if you lend me Adriano then I will straighten him out for you,” Zamparini offered in Il Giorno.

“The Brazilian is like a free bird who causes trouble when you put him in the cage, but he would be great with us.

“He hasn't become accustomed to football at Inter and I would certainly take him on loan if Moratti allows it.

“I could have signed him in 2001, but Inter snapped him up. I think he would do well here and find more space. After all, look at Antonio Cassano at Sampdoria.”
