| Walter Samuel is revelling in his return to action for Inter and isn't bothered at missing out on Jose Mourinho's Champions League squad.
The Argentine stopper had been out of action since picking up a knee ligament injury nearly a year ago before he made his return against Udinese last weekend.
Although Samuel faces a battle for a starting shirt, he is taking a positive approach.
Everyone wants to play regularly, he admitted to Argentine newspaper Olé.
I have only just made my return from injury and now I will try and keep a first-team place for as long as possible.
I spoke to Mourinho before he announced his Champions League squad and I have no problem with being left out - I was injured at the time.
Now, God-willing, I will keep fit and fight for a place. Luckily I have just renewed my contract and I want to stay here for many years because my family is very happy here and so am I.
