Tuesday 11 November, 2008 |
| Julio Cruz's agent has revealed that a number of sides are looking to lure the Argentine ace, but stresses that his position at Inter is secure.
The 34-year-old has scored some valuable goals in recent weeks and saved the day against Anorthosis Famagusta and Udinese.
But a spat with Jose Mourinho has left Cruz feeling marginalised and prompted speculation that he will leave the Nerazzurri on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.
I have been called by several clubs to discuss his situation, representative Gustavo Ghezzi said on Studio Sport.
The calls have partly come because some strange things have happened over the last few weeks.
However, there is no problem with Inter. Julio is a hard-working individual and he has a professional relationship with Mourinho.
Inter want to keep him but they must take into account his contribution, even if Julio may retire in two years.
