Tuesday 11 November, 2008 |
| Ex-Inter striker Sandro Mazzola has criticised Jose Mourinho's approach to life in Serie A. "He took Italy too lightly."
The Special One's side are top of the table, but the Portuguese tactician stormed out of his Press conference when he was asked to compare his side to Roberto Mancini's Inter.
The pressure has been growing on Mourinho after a few unconvincing performances and Mazzola, who was part of the great Inter side of the 1960s, isn't sure he can handle it.
Mourinho always tries to impress people by doing unexpected things, he said.
He shouldn't have made the comparison with Mancini and now the journalists will ask him about it for the rest of the season.
He probably overestimated himself. He wanted to set the tone immediately, but he hasn't been able to lead his side on the right track.
Jose may have underestimated the Italian championship and now he is finding it more difficult than he expected.
