| Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso's future may lie at Fiorentina as Press reports suggest a January switch is on the cards.
Burdisso enjoyed a successful pre-season and had expected to be a regular starter, but his involvement this term has been mostly as a substitute.
With Jose Mourinho welcoming back Walter Samuel from injury, Burdisso's first-team opportunities seem still more limited and he may look for a fresh start.
According to La Nazione, Viola boss Cesare Prandelli is determined to swoop for Burdisso in the New Year when the transfer window opens.
Inter may be reluctant to let the Argentine ace leave after their defensive crisis earlier in the season, but the Viola may be willing to sell Manuel Da Costa in order to free up some capital for a deal.
However, should such a deal be completed, it is likely to take the form of a loan until the end of the season with a fee agreed for a permanent switch in the summer.
