| Vieri's Brazilian blow-out |

It is reported a third Brazilian club has turned down the chance to sign Christian Vieri, so does retirement beckon?
The striker terminated his contract with Atalanta last month following a row with the club hierarchy and announced his desire to play on in Brazil.
However, approaches to Flamengo and Corinthians were unsuccessful and now it seems that Santos have also rejected the proposal.
I don't know what his real physical condition is and cannot sign a striker just out of respect for his CV, Coach Vagner Mancini told Globoesporte.
I am not interested in whether he took part in two World Cup tournaments, I want to know how he has been doing recently and how many goals he scored in the past year.
The answer is unimpressive, as the man who turns 36 in July scored just two goals in nine appearances for Atalanta this season.
Vieri has spent most of the past four campaigns on the treatment table and has been through a slew of clubs, including Milan, Monaco, Sampdoria (who he left without taking part in a single training session), Fiorentina and Atalanta.
