| Zalayeta: I'm so sorry |

|
Napoli striker Marcelo Zalayeta has returned to the fold after publicly apologising to Roberto Donadoni.
The Uruguayan failed to turn up for training without an excuse and an angry Donadoni said that he wouldn't consider Zalayeta for selection in future.
But it seems that the pair have made peace after the ex-Juventus hitman offered an unreserved apology.
I want to apologise to everyone - to the city, the club, to Donadoni, to my teammates and the fans, he said at a Press conference this afternoon.
What happened was my fault and only my fault. I misinterpreted the Coach's words of encouragement during the game against Siena.
I was angry because I had played terribly and I reacted badly. I am ready to accept any punishment the club inflicts.
Donadoni spoke to me like a big brother yesterday and explained everything. I have nothing more to say.
Zalayeta is still expected to leave the club in the summer and has been tipped to join a side in La Liga.
