Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti has emerged as the new favourite to take over from Claudio Ranieri at Juventus this summer.
Ranieri looks set to be asked to leave at the end of the season after a disappointing year in Bianconero.
Juventus recently slipped to third in Serie A and are five points behind Milan after a run of five games without a win.
Bari Coach Antonio Conte had been strongly linked with the Bianconeri and remains the fans' favourite in Turin.
Conte is a Juventus legend, having made 295 appearances for the club between 1991 and 2004, winning five Italian titles.
John Elkann, the grandson of Juventus patron Gianni Agnelli, prefers Spalletti, though, according to Tuttosport.
The Tuscan trainer, who is also being linked with the Milan job, has vital Champions League experience.
Spalletti has also shown himself to be capable of sustaining a title challenge and bringing through young players.
He has endured a difficult year with Roma, leading them to sixth place in Serie A with four games left this season.
Nevertheless, Spalletti is still regarded as one of the brightest minds in Italian and European football.
