Montenegrin starlet Stevan Jovetic has denied reports that he has already agreed a deal with Fiorentina.
The precocious 18-year-old hitman has visited Florence twice over the last few months and Press sources stated that he signed a provisional contract during his latest visit to Florence.
Jovetic is expected to leave current club Partizan in the summer and is being tracked by a number of clubs, believed to include Juventus and Real Madrid, and it seems that there could be an auction.
“I was in Florence last week to discuss my situation with the Viola,” he told Blic.
“But absolutely nothing concrete has been decided. There are several details that would need to be decided for a move to Fiorentina to be completed.
“There are other clubs interested and I will only decide my future after I have taken around 15 to 20 days to think things over.”
Jovetic’s comments will be a blow to Gigliati sporting director Pantaleo Corvino [pictured], who seemed to have completed a great swoop.
