Italy Coach Roberto Donadoni has ended his silence over his contract with the Azzurri, which is set to expire in July.
The former Livorno boss would like to extent his stay at the helm of the Nazionale until 2010, but the FIGC is considering all the options available.
“The Federcalcio made me an offer and I have made my own conclusions,” said Donadoni.
“Now, we will have to see how things improve, since I am very open and there is a relationship of trust between myself and President Giancarlo Abete.
“I haven't said much about these negotiations yet, although I have heard many people talking about it.
This doesn't represent a problem for me and I can talk about it anytime,” concluded the ex-Milan star.
Meanwhile, Donadoni's job is getting harder and harder everyday with several strikers hoping to make their way into the Azzurri squad ahead of Euro 2008.
Alessandro Del Piero, Marco Borriello, Filippo Inzaghi and Amauri are all hoping to take part in Austria and Switzerland, leaving Don with some difficult decisions to make.
“Donadoni has all the time to decide, but obviously I am waiting,” grinned Juve captain Del Piero.
