Atalanta 3-2 Livorno
Gigi Del Neri: We acted impeccably and so did the fans. Padoin was in tears at the end? Theres no problem, there was just a bit of tension around.
Fernando Orsi: I am very upset at the way we conceded the third goal. I think a draw would have been the right result. Either way, were not relegated yet.
Cagliari 2-1 Fiorentina
Davide Ballardini: This is an important victory against a team in good shape. We are happy, but the job isnt done yet, as we must concentrate on the final rounds of the season.
Cesare Prandelli: We are having a good campaign, but in one week we suffered two heavy blows. Now we have to reunite everyone and focus on the remaining two games.
Catania 1-2 Reggina
Walter Zenga: Who saw the game knows that only one team was playing. We are bitter at the moment, as we created so much and were left empty-handed.
President Lillo Foti: Our performance was of high quality and the result is a prize for those who managed to put the ball in the back of the net.
Empoli 0-1 Udinese
Gigi Cagni: It can happen to attack for 90 minutes and lose, as this is football. I cannot reprimand my players, as it was their best overall performance since I arrived.
Pasquale Marino: We were lucky in more than one occasion. We compliment Empoli, who played a great game and forced us to defend.
Lazio 1-2 Palermo
Delio Rossi: We made some really stupid mistakes and let our concentration slip, but today we went on to the field with our minds already focused on the Coppa Italia semi-final with Inter on Wednesday.
Stefano Colantuono: We were lucky, but my team never gave up and got the most they possibly could. Perhaps Lazio were distracted by the cup tie.
Parma 1-0 Genoa
Hector Cuper: It will be very difficult to survive, but we have to fight until the end. There is no alternative, even if safety does not only depend on us now.
Gian Piero Gasperini: "We tried to score until the final minute and I am satisfied with what we did at the Tardini."
Siena 1-0 Juventus
Mario Beretta: Our safety is an extraordinary achievement considering all the problems this squad had when I returned part-way through the season.
Claudio Ranieri: We put in a performance, but did not manage to get a goal. The lads worked hard and it was not a fortunate game, but admittedly we made a lot of mistakes, too.
Torino 2-1 Napoli
Gianni De Biasi: There was a lot of pressure today against a team that played good football. It is a fundamental victory that gives us hope and belief.
Director General Pierpaolo Marino: We deserved a point and played well. We were not fortunate against Torino this season, as in two meetings they have received two non-existent penalties.
