Azzurri skipper Fabio Cannavaro has reportedly completed his medical at Juventus.
Cannavaro left Juventus for Real Madrid after the Calciopoli crisis in 2006 but he seems to be ready to return.
Despite the misgivings of some sections of the tifosi and the Press, Juve are close to completing the signature of the 35-year-old, who will be a free agent at the end of the season.
It has been reported that Canna will be offered a one-year deal with the option of an extra year.
After yesterday's tests in Perugia, Cannavaro reported to the Centre of Sports Medicine in Turin at 7am this morning before completing his examination at the Fornaca Cilinic.
After two hours, Canna left the building and avoided the journalists gathered at the main entrance to return to Madrid on a midday flight.
It now looks almost certain that Cannavaro will wear the Juventus shirt next season.
