Beretta targets Bianconeri
Sunday 4 May, 2008

Juventus are on a roll, but Mario Beretta points out Siena have even more motivation. “We have to secure safety.”

The two Bianconeri go head to head this afternoon at the Stadio Franchi Arena Montepaschi and many are expecting a Juve victory.

“Juventus are the form team in Serie A at the moment, so it will be a very difficult game, but we will try to fight the same way we always have done,” said Coach Beretta.

“After all, we still need some more points to secure safety. Our first objective will be the limit the spaces for Juve, but we will never change our characteristics.”

Siena have always used their attacking 4-3-1-2 system in any situation and it has served them well so far, as they are six points clear of the drop zone.

Mario Frick is the favourite to partner Massimo Maccarone upfront with support from Tomas Locatelli.

It is a special game for Paolo De Ceglie, who is a Juventus youth product and still owned by the Turin giants.
