Hector Cuper begs Parma to keep their emotions under control after a series of red cards put them on the verge of relegation.
“Everyone has had one thought in their minds this week it is our last chance,” warned the Coach.
“Aside from the work we did to prepare for the game, I tried to make the team understand they have to control their emotions and be able to finish the match with all XI men.”
The Gialloblu will take on Genoa without the suspended Fernando Couto, Andrea Gasbarroni, Cristiano Zenoni, Luca Cigarini and Massimo Paci.
This team has the second worst disciplinary record in Serie A with 10 red cards, just two fewer than Lazio, and have repeatedly seen men sent off in recent weeks.
“At this moment we really cannot afford to give our opponents advantages like that. These are the issues we have discussed throughout the past week, even more so than how Genoa play or how we should approach them.
“I will certainly confirm the 4-4-2 system. I tried to change things a bit and use three midfielders, but we were under too much pressure, especially against Napoli.”
Reginaldo returns from a ban to partner Cristiano Lucarelli upfront.
