Palermo defender Leandro Rinaudo is delighted that he will be playing for Napoli next season.
The talented stopper has joined the exodus from the Stadio Renzo Barbera and is hoping to prove himself at new club Napoli.
Rinaudo cost the Vesuviani around £5.5m in total, including his wages for a five-year deal.
Napoli is such an important place with great ambitions and such a history behind them, he told Napoli Magazine.
I cant wait to wear this shirt. Being from Palermo I am sad to leave my city, but I am really happy and proud that I am now a Napoli player.
I am grateful to my new boss Edy Reja and I will show him what I can do once training starts again.
But for now I dont want to talk about my abilities I want to get out there on the pitch and prove myself to the fans.
Napolis season will start early this time around as they have entered the Intertoto Cup in a bid to claim a UEFA Cup berth.
